The St Albans Primary Schools Music Association (SAPSMA) has raised an incredible £623 for Rally Round Rupert. This generous donation will go directly towards funding vital clinical research to improve outcomes for children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
SAPSMA, a volunteer-run organisation, hosted a Christmas carol service at St Albans Abbey Cathedral that showcased the musical abilities of local primary school students. The audience was treated to uplifting melodies and heartwarming performances, a testament to the transformative power of music and community spirit.
In addition to raising money for Rally Round Rupert, SAPSMA invited the charity’s trustees Charlie and Annemari to speak at the service. This was a great opportunity to raise awareness of SMA among hundreds of children, teachers and parents.
Thank you SAPSMA!
